Ricochet is a product of RICOCHET, LLC, a Washington-based company. This privacy policy explains how we use the personal data we collect from you when you use ricochet.rs and when you create an account to purchase or manage a license for the Ricochet product.

What data do we collect?

ricochet.rs does not collect any personal data.

When you create an account to purchase or manage a license for the Ricochet product, we collect:

  • Your name and email address.

Your billing information, including your company name, billing address, tax or VAT identification number, and payment details, is collected and processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide us with the data we collect. We collect data when you:

  • Register for an account or purchase a license for the Ricochet product.
  • Use or view our websites via cookies.

We do not currently receive your data indirectly from any other source.

How will we use your data?

We use your data so that we can:

  • Create and manage your account and generate your license for the Ricochet product.
  • Communicate with you about your account, subscription, and license.

Your payment is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We do not sell your data or share it with any other company.

How do we store your data?

We store your data on servers located in Germany, operated by Hetzner.

We keep your account data for as long as necessary to maintain a historical record of your license and account relationship with us. If you request that we delete your data, we will do so within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it longer to comply with a legal obligation.

Marketing

We do not currently collect or use your data for marketing purposes.

What are your data protection rights?

Ricochet would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
